LIMA — The American Red Cross is working to restock the blood supply due to the ongoing impact of Hurricane Helene’s damage in the Southeast.
The storm canceled more than 100 blood drives when the supply was already low.
To schedule an appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS or by using the Red Cross Blood Donor app.
Anyone giving blood, platelets or plasma through Oct. 31 will receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card by email plus be entered for a chance to win one of three $5,000 gift cards.
