Letter: Ohio football games should be on free TV

All Ohio State, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns football games should be on free TV.

No Ohio resident should have to pay extra to Peacock, Prime or any other network that directly charges Ohio residents to watch TV. Yes, I have cable with Netflix. The difference is my tax dollars I pay to the State of Ohio do not go to Netflix. All the Ohio games for football should be on Fox, NBC, CBS and ABC, all channels you can get with antenna TV. I’m sure Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC or any antenna TV station would be glad to broadcast Ohio football games.

They can have regional coverage for Ohio and other regions of the United States. Ohio State receives more than $900 million per year from the State of Ohio, our tax dollars. I have to pay state tax dollars to the State of Ohio, and I have to pay extra to Peacock to watch Ohio State vs. Michigan State?

I do not like being held hostage by Peacock, Prime or any other network that owns them. Yes, I know NBC owns Peacock.

The Browns and the Bengals use public money for their stadiums.

I will be sending copies of my letter to all of Ohio State and federal government representatives, and I hope they read my letter.
