Football: LCC enters D-VII top 10 in latest AP poll

LCC (4-1) entered the top 10 this week in the third weekly Division VII state poll, voted upon by Associated Press members throughout Ohio.

The T-Birds meet Bluffton (5-0) on Friday night, who remains at the No. 5 spot in D-VI.

Columbus Grove (5-0) stayed at No. 2 behind Marion Local (5-0) in the D-VII poll. Minster (4-1) slotted in at third and New Bremen (3-2) was tied for fifth with Berlin Center Western Reserve (5-0).

Versailles (5-0) dropped to No. 4 in the D-V poll, Wapakoneta is up to No.6 in D-III and Coldwater (5-0) is No. 2 in D-VI.

Other area teams receiving votes included Lima Senior (D-II, 10) Celina (D-III, 1), St. Henry (D-VII, 16) and Ada (D-VII, 6).
