LIMA — A blacksmith will convert guns into garden tools during an upcoming event for Lima’s Center for Peace and Reconciliation.
The all-ages event will feature stories from gun violence survivors, as well as suicide prevention tips, gun safety and de-escalation training musical performances, art activities and food trucks.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Peace Center, 129 S. Pierce St., Lima. Parking is available north of the building.
