ALLEN COUNTY

U.S. 30 pavement repair: U.S. 30 between Interstate 75 and State Route 235 is no longer restricted following pavement repair.

State Route 12, State Route 115, State Route 613 resurfacing: State Route 12, State Route 115, and State Route 613 in Putnam, Allen, and Hancock counties at the following locations will be restricted to one lane through the work zone beginning Aug. 19 for resurfacing.

State Route 115 slide repair: State Route 115 between Cole Street and Kissing Hollow Drive closed on May 13 for approximately 90 days to repair the slope and replace a culvert. The contracted work is behind schedule; the latest estimate to reopen is Sept. 2. Work is expected to take place on the weekends to expedite the completion. SR 65 to U.S. 30, back to SR 115.

State Route 117/State Route 309 traffic signal: Traffic signal work may impact traffic at the intersection of Bellefontaine Avenue, Kibby Street, Leonard, and Harding Highway in the city of Lima. Lanes may close, and flaggers may be necessary.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

State Route 29 Closure – SR 29 is closed between N Van Street and Gas Street due to ongoing road work being completed by the city of St. Mary’s.

State Route 65 Culvert Replacement – SR 65 will be closed between U.S. 33 and SR 274 from Monday, August 5 through Saturday, September 14. Crews will be replacing several culverts. Detour: Pike St. to I-75 to U.S. 33

Interstate 75 Lane Shift – Expect two lanes on I-75 in each direction. Southbound traffic in the left lane will cross over into a contraflow lane on the northbound side just south of the rest areas starting Thursday, June 6 through October 2024. Vehicles in the contraflow lane will not have access to exit 113 for SR 67. Drivers will re-enter the southbound driving lane just north of Middle Pike. Crews will be reconstructing the southbound travel lane bridge. This new traffic pattern will maintain two lanes of traffic in each direction. This shift is weather dependent.

Interstate 75 Lane Closures – Expect intermittent overnight lane closures on I-75 in both directions between Middle Pike and Hengstler Road from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. starting Monday, March 18 through Friday, November 1. Crews will be performing bridge work.

HARDIN COUNTY

U.S. 68 paving: U.S. 68, just south of County Road 80, will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for paving of bridge approaches.

State Route 31 reconstruction: Main Street between Ohio Street and Carrol Street in the city of Kenton closed on March 4 for 240 days for reconstruction, curb and gutter, and sewer. Detour: U.S. 68/Detroit St. to Letson Ave., back to SR 31/Main St.

State Route 81 culvert replacement: State Route 81 at the intersection of County Road 95, approximately four miles east of the village of Ada, will close Sept. 9 for approximately 12 days for a culvert replacement. Detour: Information forthcoming

State Route 195 pavement repair: State Route 195, between State Route 309 and County Road 110, will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair.

State Route 309 spot paving: State Route 309 between State Route 235 and the Allen County line will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for paving at various locations.

PUTNAM COUNTY

State Route 12, State Route 115, State Route 613 resurfacing: State Route 12, State Route 115, and State Route 613 in Putnam, Allen, and Hancock counties at the following locations will be restricted to one lane through the work zone beginning Aug. 19 for resurfacing.

State Route 12: From the village of Vaughnsville to the Allen County line. From the Allen County line to the west corporation of Columbus Grove. From the east corporation of Columbus Grove to the Hancock County line.

State Route 115: Through the village of Kalida (no work will take place during Pioneer Days, Sept. 5-8)

State Route 613: Through the village of Leipsic.

State Route 115 bridge maintenance: State Route 115 between Road I-14 and H-13 over the Blanchard River reopened Aug. 13.

State Route 115 culvert replacement: State Route 115 between State Route 694 and Road T-K will close on Monday, Aug. 19, for approximately 12 days for a culvert replacement. Detour: SR 694 to SR 114, back to SR 115.

State Route 613 shoulder improvement: State Route 613 between State Route 15 and State Route 108 will be restricted to alternating one way via temporary traffic signals the week of Aug. 12 for shoulder improvements.

State Route 613 curb and sewer: Main Street in the village of Leipsic and West Leipsic is closed for curb replacement and sewer repairs. SR 613 between SR 65/Eastom Street and CR 5 closed on June 18 for approximately 60 days. Detour: SR 109 to SR 65 to U.S. 224 to CR 5, back to SR 613.

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 rest area reconstruction: The U.S. 30 rest areas between State Route 49 and U.S. 127 in Van Wert County closed on January 11 for approximately one year for complete reconstruction of the buildings.

U.S. 30 bridge repair: Converse Roselm Road and Stripe Road over U.S. 30 are closed until further notice as a safety precaution due to a bridge strike caused by an over-height vehicle.

U.S. 127 water main repair, Van Wert: U.S. 127/Washington St. in the city of Van Wert is now open following a waterline repair

U.S. 127 resurfacing: U.S. 127 between the Mercer County line the city of Van Wert is restricted to one lane for resurfacing. Work will pause from August 1-4 for the annual U.S. 127 Yard Sale.

State Route 81 reconstruction: State Route 81 between Willshire Eastern Road and Harrison Willshire Road, just east of the village of Willshire closed on May 6 for approximately 150 days to raise the roadway profile and replace two culverts. Access for local traffic to all properties will be maintained throughout construction. Detour: SR 49 to U.S. 33 to SR 118, back to SR 81.

Leeson Avenue reconstruction: Leeson Avenue between Shannon Street (State Route 118) and Rose Drive in the city of Van Wert closed on Feb. 7 for 245 days for reconstruction including curb and gutter, storm sewer, and a multi-use path on the north side of the roadway.
