ELIDA — A benefit for the family of veteran Jason Patrick will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at Layman’s Feed & Lawn, 705 E. Main St., Elida, with meals from Fat Kid BBQ.
For $12, the meal will come with potato salad, baked beans, a roll, butter, a cookie and water with meat choices of quarter chicken, boneless pork chops or pulled pork.
Patrick served in the Army for 21 years and died unexpectedly June 28. The money will go to Patrick’s family to help with the cost of his passing.
