LIMA — Stoops Freightliner will be hosting a Lunch and Learn from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 598 E. Hanthorn Rdoad.
The facility will conduct many activities on the property.
“We’re going to talk about the CARB emission regulations of 2027 and also electric vehicles,” said Cheryl Troyer, of Sttops. “We actually have a fully functioning team that can work on electric vehicles, and we’ve actually sold several in this area even. It’s hard to believe semi-trucks can be electric, but we actually have our own charging station at the dealership and two certified technicians that can work on them.”
Employees will offer tours of the facility to show the infrastructure and give a first-hand view of what the technicians are working on at that time along with a ride and drive in different trucks.
