WAPAKONETA — This year’s Summer Moon Festival will begin with the pickleball tournament at 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 16 at Harmon Park at 399 W. Harrison St. in Wapakoneta and continue through Sunday, July 21 throughout the city.
The downtown festival will start at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 18 and will feature events such as bed races, a beer stein holding contest, a cornhole tournament, a fishing derby, an astronaut meet and greet and the festival’s scholarship pageant.
The Armstrong Air & Space Museum will have extended hours and special exhibits and downtown will also showcase live music performances to go with food trucks, the Moon Market and family activities.
