Latta calls on Senate to pass HALT Fentanyl Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Bob Latta, R-Bowling Green, criticized Senate Democrats, led by Bill Cassidy, for blocking the passage of a bill that would address the permanent scheduling of fentanyl analogues, in a statement with Morgan Griffith (R-Louisiana).

The Biden administration supported the Halt All Lethal Trafficking Fentanyl Act, and the act passed the U.S. House of Representatives in 2023.
