Lima requests developer qualifications for Riverfront One property

LIMA — The City of Lima is asking for developer qualifications for the next phases of the Riverfront One property at 325 S. Main St., which it purchased last September for $200,000.

The city said the property, which overlooks the Ottawa River, could incorporate multiple uses ranging from entertainment and housing to recreation and restaurants as part of the transformation that downtown Lima is undergoing.

Teams can send in their qualifications by April 10.

The top respondents will prepare a proposal for the site, following a review, accompanied by a stipend to help offset costs.
