The Flyers hit eight 3-pointers, led by Grant Kremer who hit four of them. Austin Niekamp scored 18 points and Kremer got 16 points in the win.

Keaten Welch’s 18 points led Van Wert. Rylan Miller had 14 points and Colin Haggerty scored 11.

The Wildcats, who broke a long losing streak on Friday night, made it two wins in two nights. Carson Remlinger’s 8 points led eight Kalida players who got into the scoring column.

Alex Sanders scored 19 points and Maddox Underwood got 18 points for the Rams. Beau Sanders (12 points) and Andrue Kindle (11 points) also hit double figures.

Kolton Dysert led Ada with 15 points and Slade Gossman scored 12 points.

Kenton boys second, girls team seventh in Wynford Classic

Kenton’s boys bowling team competed in the Wynford Classic Saturday and finished in second place with a pin total of 3044. The team of Spencer Anglemyer, Eban Albert, Joel Bowman, Jesse Harrison, Adam Hopkins, Trevor Roesner, and Sam Taylor averaged 190 over the 16 baker games, including games of 202, 213, 244, and 247.

Kenton’s girls team competed in the Wynford Classic and finished in seventh place with a pin total of 1760. The team of Shyan Cherry, Kim Heberling, Karyn Hopkins, Mackenzie Kugel, Lylli Tillman, and Brooke Vansky averaged 110 over the 16 baker games, including games of 159, 144, and 132.

Lima Senior defeats LCC for ninth victory in a row

The Spartans had a team total of 2,428 to 2,115 for the Thunderbirds.

Yahir Brito-Diaz had a 365 two-game series total, including a 200, and Peyton Rader had a 353 series and a 182 game. Emanuel Brito-Diaz had a 182 game.

LCC’s Michael Miller had a 344 series.
