Smith-Jones Foundation scholarship to help students pay for textbooks

LIMA — The Smith-Jones Family Foundation is accepting applications for its “Be Great” book scholarship, which helps offset the “ever-increasing cost” of college and trade school textbooks for up to four years.

The scholarship is available to all graduating high school seniors attending school in Allen County, the foundation said in a press release Monday.

Applications are available in high school guidance offices and may be emailed to [email protected] by Friday, March 1. Finalists will be announced April 15.
