Lima Memorial nurses ratify contract

LIMA — The Lima Memorial Professional Nurses Association ratified a three-year contract with Lima Memorial Health System, the health system confirmed via press release Monday.

“We worked very hard the last couple of months to ensure a fair contract that benefits our members,” Jill Burd, a registered nurse and president of the Lima Memorial Professional Nurses Association, said in a prepared statement.

“We worked hard to make sure our focus remained on creating a contract that would benefit our members in the areas of wages and insurance, and we are pleased to say we created that.”

The contract will take effect Nov. 1 through Oct. 31, 2026.
