LIMA — The mayor’s spring clean-up will start at 9 a.m. and last until noon this Saturday. The event invites community members to participate in cleaning their homes and neighborhoods. Dumpsters will be located around the city for trash. According to a recent press release, propane tanks, mercury switches, radioactive materials, compressed gas cylinders, batteries, aerosol cans, chemical waste and appliances are not permitted at the dumpsters.
On Saturday, dumpsters will be located at the following locations:
• Faurot Park, Diamond 5 by the volleyball court
• Forest Park UMC, 315 S. Collins Avenue
• City of Lima Department of Housing and Neighborhoods, 900 S. Collett St.
