FOSTORIA — Ti’ana Spivey had 13 points and 12 rebounds, Ayrianna Engberg scored nine and Tillie Nelson finished with nine rebounds for Lima Senior (6-18)

Bryan 41, Elida 37

BLUFFTON — Bryan (21-2) advanced to play St. Marys at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Paulding. Addisyn Freeman had 13 points and Bella Lopez and Payton Kuhn scored eight each for Elida (11-13).

St. Marys 56, Fostoria 38

BLUFFTON — Cora Rable and Morgan Hesse each had 15 points and Ella Jacobs scored 10 for St. Marys (15-9).

Ottawa-Glandorf 54,

Spencerville 22

AYERSVILLE — The No. 5 ranked Titans (20-3) advanced to play Fairview, a 65-44 winner against Tinora, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Elida Fieldhouse. The Bearcats finished their season at 12-12.

SPENCERVILLE — St. Henry (16-8) advanced to play Minster at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Wapakoneta. Perry finished its season at (12-11).

SPENCERVILLE — Lilly Barnhorst (14), Lyndi Hemmelgarn (13), Kaycie Albers (12) and Katie McClurg (12) each scored in double digits for the Wildcats (13-10). Zaria DeLeon and Raegan Hutchison each had six points for W-G (10-14).

Kalida 46, Fort Jennings 22

VAN WERT — Camille Hovest had 15 points and Meredith Bockrath scored 10 for Kalida (17-6). Autumn Calvelage had eight points for Fort Jennings (4-20).

VAN WERT — Erica Thorbahn had 18 points and Skylar Turnwald scored 12 for Ottoville (12-12).

New Bremen 45, Ada 32

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Chloe Homan had 17 points and Marina Nelson scored 13 for New Bremen (11-12), which plays Marion Local at 6 p.m. Thursday at Wapakoneta. Courtney Sumner had 13 points and Autumn Andreasen scored six for Ada (11-12).

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Chloe Ronnebaum had 10 points and Lindsey Koenig scored nine for Marion Local (20-4). Ally Topp had six points for New Knoxville (1-22).

PAULDING — Cali Gregory had 27 points and Ellie Kline and Laci McCoy scored 11 each for Crestview (19-4), which will play Pettisville, a 57-43 winner against Hilltop, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Defiance High School.

VAN WERT — Aidan Pratt had 20 points and Garett Gunter scored 16 for the host Cougars (15-7). Nate Lichtle had 12 points and Gavin Etzler, Carson Hunter and Jaret Harting each scored eight for the No. 4 ranked Division IV Knights (19-3).

LIMA — Matthew Quatman had 16 points and Carson Parker and Parker Judy each scored 14 for Lima Central Catholic (10-11) against the No. 9 ranked Division II Bulldogs (18-4).

Ada 77, Vanlue 55

ADA — Carter Conley (27), Spencer Wall (25) and Ethan Murphy (10) each scored in double digits for Ada (9-13).

Allen East 71, Perry 63

HARROD — Allen East finished the regular season at 14-8 while Perry fell to 10-12. Individual scoring was not reported by deadline.

New Spencerville coach

SPENCERVILLE — Pending school board approval, Kyle Koenig will be the new Spencerville varsity head coach. Koenig moves up from being an assistant under Chris Sommers, who stepped down in December.

TRAC Championships

FREMONT — Lima Senior (14 points) finished eighth behind team champ Fremont Ross (165.5).

Lima Senior’s Sir Horrison was third in the 144 pound division.

BVC tournament

MCCOMB — Pandora-Gilboa’s Mitchell Blank finished sixth at 175 pounds in the Blanchard Valley Conference competition. P-G finished seventh with three points behind team champ Liberty-Benton (314).

All District 8

Ottawa-Glandorf’s Colin White (player of the year) and Defiance’s Bryn Lehman (coach of the year) received top honors in Division I-II-III and Cameron Elwer from Delphos St. John’s and Crestview’s Doug Etzler (coach of the year) were top recipients in D-IV.

Joining White on the D-I-II-III first team were Austin Parks (St. Marys), Cayden Zachrich (Defiance), Bradyn Shaw (Defiance), Aidan Pratt (Van Wert), Jake Bishop (Findlay) and Josh Henline (Spencerville).

Joining Elwer on the D-IV first team were Jack Knapke (Marion Local), Cale Rammel (Fort Recovery), Aiden Harris (Pandora-Gilboa), Kellen Schlagbaum (Ottoville), Jerome Kloepfer (Vanlue), Jaden Smith (Kalida), Gavin Etzler (Crestview), Aaron Theiman (New Bremen) and Luke Beyke (St. Henry).

Shawnee’s Nick Bertke (D-I, II), Columbus Grove’s Connor Kohls (D-III), and Brian Clark (D-IV) of Delphos St. John’s received assistant coach of the year recognition.

All District 8

Liberty-Benton’s Lauren Gerken (player of the year) and Delphos Jefferson’s Denise Lindeman (coach of the year) received top honors in Division I-II-III and Crestview’s Cali Gregory (player of the year) and Leipsic’s Gary Kreinbrink (coach of the year) were the top recepients in D-IV.

Joining Gerken on the D-I-II-III first team were Lyv Lindeman (Delphos Jefferson), Riley Rismiller (Coldwater), Gabrielle Stober (Parkway), Grace Freiberger (Shawnee), Elena Oliver (Bath) and Addisyn Freeman (Elida).

Joining Gregory on the D-IV first team were Whitney Langhals (Leipsic), Lauryn Auchmuty (Columbus Grove), Paige McVetta (Cory-Rawson), Chloe Homan (New Bremen), Laci McCoy (Crestview), Camille Hovest (Kalida), Lilly Barhorst (Minster), Bryn Tegenkamp (Continental) and Courtney Sumner (Ada).

Liberty-Benton’s Chad Lieb (D-I, II), Parkway’s Deb Kirby (D-III) and Arcadia’s Rod Palmer (D-IV) received assistant coach of the year honors.

BOWLING GREEN — Wapakoneta’s Kate Bauer was the top area finisher with a seventh place in the girls 100 butterfly. Wapak (42 points) finished 17th behind team champ Avon (289).

Bath’s Dacoda Tellez advanced to districts with a three-game series of 522 Friday at Thibodeau’s Seneca Lanes.

All-Star Games

The girls and boys District 8 All-Star Games will be played Monday, March 20, and Tuesday, March 21, respectively at the Elida Fieldhouse.

The Division I-II-III games are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. followed by the D-IV encounters.

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — Elida graduate Brayden Lybarger picked up his first college win in a three-inning relief stint, allowing one hit and a walk while retiring five on strikes, for Indiana State in its 6-1 victory against Quinnipiac.
