Letter: Thoughtful young men helped after accident

I want to thank the two young men driving a flatbed truck on Nov. 30. I was headed to the YMCA in Lima, and a dump truck was headed towards me on the west side of the refinery, when two objects flew up and out of the truck.

It turned out to be a galvanized pail, and it hit the road right in front of my car, cracking the front spoiler. The pail stuck under the car. Shame on that truck driver for not securing his load.

I had made a police report and waited for help. These two stopped, jacked up my car and pulled the pail out from under the car. They would not take any money, and I am so thankful there are men like these on the roads we travel.
