Letter: Penalties are allowed against Patriots now

I really hate sounding like a broken record, but again the officials missed at least two pass interference calls against the Patriots against Cleveland, plus a facemask on Jacoby Brissett. It doesn’t give me encouragement when one official is talking to the Patriot coach before the game even starts.

It is past time for the NFL to do something to level the outrageous, blatant disregard for the rules. It is not fair to the fans, the players or the game.

I propose two no-call challenges a game. A team would lose 10 yards if they lose the challenge.

Oh, by the way, don’t worry, Tom Brady doesn’t play for the New England team anymore, so it’s OK to call offensive holding now on that team.
