LIMA — Playoffs were needed to determined first place in the boys 16-18 and girls 16-18 divisions in a Lima Junior Golf Association McDonald’s Series tournament Thursday at Hidden Creek Golf Club.
Drew Zwiebel defeated Gavin Harmon in one playoff after each shot even-par 72. Mary Kelly Mulcahy defeated Jill Schmitmeyer after each shot 72.
Carson Harmon won the boys 14-15 event with a 76. Ethan Ricketts topped Isaiah Johns in a playoff for second after each finished with a 79.
Connor Nartker won a tiebreaker against Parker Judy and Damon Watson after each shot 46 in the nine-hole boys 12-13 competition. Judy defeated Watson in the tiebreaker for second place.
Kayla Watkins won the girls 15 and younger division with a nine-hole total of 55. Bridget Mulcahy won the second-place tiebreaker against Emma Mayers after each shot 57.
