VAN WERT — Van Wert freshman pitcher Owen Treece fired a complete game no-hitter. The Cougar hurler fanned seven and walked one. Offensively, Hayden Maples went 2 for 3 and Lawson Blackmore was 1 for 2 with an RBI.

Allen East 12, Ada 1

HARROD — Allen East hurler Dalton Clum threw four innings of one-hit ball while striking out six and walking one Mikhale Skeid and Ryan Snyder pitched the final two frames . Nate Ketchum went 3 for 4 with two RBI and one run and Tyler Clum was 2 for 4 with one RBI and two runs.

Miller City 4, Fort Jennings 0

Miller City’s Noah Otto fired a no-hitter and faced the minimum of 21 batters. He fanned four and walked two. Otto helped his cause with a double. Miller City improves to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the Putnam County League and Fort Jennings falls to 4-3 and 0-1 in loop action.

Minster 15, Lima Central Catholic 0

LIMA — Minster’s Jenna Poeppelman scattered four hits in five innings while fanning 10 to record the win. Danielle Barhorst and Alice Schmiesing each had 3 RBI and Karly Richard and Taylor Homan each had doubles.

Bluffton 6, Crestview 2

BLUFFTON — Pirate Pitcher Libby Schaadt picked up the after throwing seven innings of six-hit ball and giving up two runs. She walked six and fanned seven. Katie Prater went 3 for 4 with a double and one RBI and Avery Rumer was 2 for 4 with a double, one run scored and one RBI. Schaadt knocked in two runs. For Crestview, Caitlan O’Hagan was 2 for 3 with a stolen base and Alexis Gregory was 1 for 4 with a double.

New Bremen 18, Hardin Northern 9

DOLA — New Bremen’s Erin Smith pitched seven innings, gave up 10 hits and seven earned runs. She struck out four and walked seven. Abbi Thieman went 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBI and Marisa Topp was 1 for 4 with a home run and 5 RBI and one run scored. Kira Bertke was 2 for 5 with a home run and three RBI and two runs scored. For Hardin Northern, Shelby Alloway was 3 for 5 with a triple, three runs scored and two RBI.

Ada 16, Allen East 7

HARROD — Ada’s Olivia Alexander, who had three stolen bases, went 4 for 4 with four runs and one RBI and Maddie Gossard went 3 for 4 with a home run and 5 RBI. Teara Coulson was 2 for 4 with two runs and two RBI and Sydney Newland was 3 for 5 with two doubles and one run and two RBI. Leona Dalton picked up the win, going seven innings and giving up six earned runs while walking five and striking out five. For the Mustangs, Riley Newland was 2 for 4 with a double and three runs scored and three RBI. Chloe Lawrence was 2 for 4 with two RBI. Lakin Basham was 22 for 4 with one run and one RBI.

ADA — Ada got victories in singles play from Zach Beaschler, No. 1 singles, Cade Mullins, No. 2 singles and Miranda Wills, No. 3 and got doubles wins from the No. 1 duo of Isaac Spar and Nathan Hurtig and from the No. 2 doubles pair of Acel Gamble and Adam Bailey.

Ashland 5, Wapakoneta 0

WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta fell to Ashland 5-0 in a non league affair Tuesday.

Elida 4, Lehman 1

SIDNEY — Elida got wins from Sebastian Kunkleman at No. 2 singles and Riley Fricke at No. 3 singles. In doubles action, Jared Ramirez and Nathan Smith, at No. 1 doubles picked up a win and the No. 2 doubles team of Riley Creps and Jacob Ramirez also won.
