LIMA — The Lima NAACP held a community forum Monday discussing two programs aimed at helping young people succeed.
The Reach Initiative focuses on helping youth overcome challenges and issues that age group faces, while the Prep College Readiness program is designed to help high school students better transition from high school to college education.
“These programs are designed to educate and empower young adults by providing them with the confidence and the necessary skills to be successful in life,” according to a release from the NAACP.
