Trucker cited for Sunday crash on I-75 near Findlay

FINDLAY — A truck driver was cited for a lane violation after a crash Sunday on Interstate 75.

William Lovelace, 47, of Austin, Texas, was driving south on I-75 at 6:29 p.m. in the right lane when he drifted into the left lane striking a southbound tractor-trailer driven by Michael Walker, 50, of Newport, Michigan, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.

Walker was pushed into the median wall, crashed and came to a rest on the top of the truck. He was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital to be treated for minor injuries, the patrol reported.

Both men were wearing seat belts. Lovelace was cited for marked lanes violation, the patrol reported.
