Goshen College announces dean’s list for Spring 2016
ELIDA — Goshen College, in Goshen, Ind., recognized 221 undergraduate students for excellence in academics.
The dean’s list includes students earning at least a 3.75 GPA, while complete at least 12 hours of course work for a letter grade.

Rhodes State College hosts Rhodesology 101
LIMA — Rhodes State College played host to approximately 150 Northwest and West Central Ohio students in grades six through 10 on June 6-8. The students created art, programmed robots, investigated a crime scene and more.
The unique summer camp is offered annually on the campus of Rhodes State College and allows attendees to experience skilled concepts in engineering, health sciences, visual and written arts. There were 14 different three-day sessions taught by Rhodes faculty.
Two area residents on Heidelberg dean’s list
LIMA — Patrick VanMeter, of Lima, a freshman political science and history major, made the dean’s list at Heidelberg University.
Aaron Hellman, of Delphos, a junior athletic training major also made the spring dean’s list at Heidelberg University.
Schylar Miller named to dean’s list
SPENCERVILLE — Schylar Miller has been named to the dean’s list for the Fall 2015 semester at Davenport University, of Grand Rapids, Mich. To achieve the dean’s list, a student must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA while enrolled in at least nine credits of regular coursework.
Columbus Grove resident contributes to e-book
COLUMBUS GROVE — Benjamin Schroeder, of Columbus Grove, was among the students who contributed to “Tales from Mythology Spring 2016,” an eBook published by the ENG 233 Mythology class at Trine University, in Angola, Indiana.
The book is a collection of student-created myths from the class. Students were assigned the project of creating their own myth.
