Putnam County Common Pleas Court

Nov. 10

Justin D. Lawrence, 25, 500 W. Main St., Belmore, was sentenced to 60 months in prison for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. A jury found Lawrence guilty of the charge following a trial last month and found he was 10 or more years older than the victim at the time of the offense. He was given credit for eight days served.

Ryan Greve, 30, 278 Lakeshore Drive, Glandorf, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for possession of drugs. He was given credit for 98 days served and his operator’s license was suspended for one year. He also was sentenced to 30 months in prison for illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto detention facility (drugs). He was given credit for 98 days served. Court costs were waived due to defendant being indigent and the case was ordered to be served concurrent. His operator’s license was suspended for one year and an evaluation at the WORTH Center was ordered. A charge of permitting drug abuse and possession of drug instruments were dismissed.

Greve was accused of trying to smuggle narcotics into the county jail Aug. 6 after returning from an appointment at Pathways Counseling Center. Greve had been remanded to jail following his indictment on drug charges, but was granted a furlough on Aug. 4 and Aug. 6 to attend the counseling sessions.

Natalie R. Golich, 31, 700 Central Ave., Findlay, was granted judicial release. She had been convicted of possession of drugs and attempted theft.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Nov. 9

Sherrie A. Langhals, 46, 360 E. Blake St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, take medications as prescribed and attend VIP. A charge of improper lane usage was dismissed.

Markese L. Brown, 23, 1429 S. Union St., Lima, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $150 fine and no contact with victim for two years.

Nov. 10

Theron C. Ridinger, 18, 25 Vine St., Apt. 14, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to first-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. Another charge of OVI was dismissed.

Roger A. McKinnon, 56, 610 Bright Road, Findlay, pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to file tax report. Sentence: $100 fine on each count.

Nov. 12

David J. Engard, 30, 5 E. Sugar St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to first-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, and one-year license suspension.

Adam Scarberry, 26, 200 E. Main St., Belmore, pleaded no contest to drug paraphernalia and was found guilty. Sentence: 180-day license suspension and $150 fine with work privilege. He also pleaded no contest to drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: 180-day license suspension and $150 fine with work privilege.

Brandon J. Eingle, 211 W. Williamstown Road, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to two counts passing bad checks. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $100 fine and costs.

Village of Ottawa, agreed judgment v. Nicacio Garcia, Jr., Ottawa, and Anna M. Okuley, Ottawa, $1,325.05, plus interest and costs for unpaid municipal income tax, penalty and interest for years 2013 and 2014.

Village of Ottawa, agreed judgment v. Leon A. Reza, Leipsic, $478.56 plus interest and costs for unpaid municipal income tax, penalty and interest for years 2010, 2011 and 2012.
