On behalf of my mother, brother, and our families, I wish to thank the many individuals who came to pay their respects to my father, Rick Mericle, after his recent, unexpected death. We heard that some of you waited two hours in line at Siferd’s Funeral Home to pay respects to Dad; he indeed left a positive impression on many people in the Lima area.
Your words of kindness, stories about his life, and generosity in donating to the Lima Rescue Mission in his memory are all greatly appreciated. To the gentleman who made the extraordinary slate engravings of my father, you will never know just how much the picture and saying touched our hearts. Losing a loved one such as Dad always leaves an aching pain, but it is a bit lessened thanks to all of your support.
