Letter: Exceptionally unexceptional

Thank you, Jim Jordan, for being exceptionally unexceptional

Recently, GovTrack.us has rated members of Congress for their effectiveness at introducing and passing legislation. After all, they are supposed to be working for us so, they deserve a ranking based on their work record, just like they expect to be practiced with some of their underlings who also work in the public sector.

So, with this in mind, GovTrack has studied the work habits (or lack thereof) of all the members of Congress and have come up with a list of the “35 least-effective members of Congress” and my Rep., Jim Jordan, holds the distinction of being number 34 out of 35! That’s quite an honor, Jim!

Since Mr. Jordan has been “at work” (he entered Congress in 2007) he has yet to introduce a bill that ever passed through Committee to arrive at the House floor for a vote. Quite an accomplishment, I’d say, Mr. Jordan. Those who wish to verify this data are welcome to visit this website to view Mr. Jordan’s lack of work…and the lack of work of other ineffective representatives.
