The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, which includes the Lima Locos and Grand Lake Mariners, is still planning to play this year.
Due to circumstances outside of its control, the Cincinnati Steam, the Saint Clair Green Giants and the Southern Ohio Copperheads are unable to operate this summer. Each plans to return in 2021.
A board of directors meeting is scheduled for May 4 to decide if the start of the season needs to be delayed. Any other decisions concerning operations this summer will be made in the weeks following.
