Denecker and teammate Jared Piercefield finished with 22 points each. Mason Soper scored 13 also for Bluffton (11-1). Mason Brandt had 21 points and Jaden Siefker scored 10 for Leipsic (5-5).

Indoor Meet
FINDLAY — Lima Senior broke four meet records and won five events in finishing second overall against more than 40 teams Sunday at the OATCC Northwest District Indoor Meet at the University of Findlay.
The Spartans’ Deji’Ona Shurelds Simpson set meet marks in winning the 200 (27.05 seconds) and 400 (1 minute, 1.52 seconds) meter dashes. She also was a member of the record-setting 4 x 200 relay team (1:51.99) along with Lynnae Wheeler, India Benton and Jae’anna Hughes. Simpson, Hughes, Benton and Coryasia Owens had a record meet time in finishing first in the 4 x 400 (4:21.04).
Hughes also won the 60 (8.03). India Benton broke the previous meet record in finishing second in the 400 (1:01.87). Waynesfield-Goshen’s Taylor Spencer won the 800 (2:28.7) and was fourth in the 1,600 (5:23.51). Ottawa-Glandorf’s Grace Hoffman was first (36-10), Van Wert’s Kirsten Clay was second (35-1) and Columbus Grove’s Kennedy Flores (34-4) was fourth in the shot put. W-G’s Rylie Barrington won the triple jump (8.55), Flores was first (46-11) and Leipsic’s Ella Rigel was fourth (43-2) in the weight throw. Coldwater’s Jessica Break was third in the pole vault (11-0)
On the boys side, Hardin Northern’s Frank McCoy won the long jump (6.51 meters). Pandora-Gilboa’s Sam Burkholder and Waynesfield-Goshen’s Sam Meeks were third (9.29) and fourth (10.18) respectively in the 60 hurdles.
Hardin Northern was second in the 4 x 200 (1:42.56) and 4 x 400 (3:54.04) relays, and W-G was fourth in the 4 x 800 relay. The team members’ names were not reported. Botkins’ Justin Shuga waa third in the shot put (41-5), Kalida’s Tanner Schultz tied for fourth in the pole vault (11-6), W-G’s Austin Birt was third (43-0) and Shuga was fourth (40-7) in the weight throw, and W-G’s Grady Spencer was fourth in the triple jump (10.35 meters).
