ST. MARYS — Police arrested a man this week who used a stolen firearm to hold people throwing toilet paper into trees on his property until police arrived.
La Brian G. Reed was arrested for having a weapon while under a court sanction. He also was charged with abduction and receiving stolen property. He is accused of catching people throwing toilet paper into trees on his property and showing a stolen firearm to force people into his home and hold them until police arrived, the St. Marys Police Department reported.
Reed is being held on a $150,000 bond in the Auglaize County jail, police said.
