A guide to Easter Bunny events

Area children will get a chance to have a hopping good time today if they go to the Lima YMCA.

The YMCA is hosting its annual family bunny hop from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Children will be able to get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. They can also dance to the Bunny Hop, Chicken Dance, Hokey Pokey. A disc jockey will provide music and there will be an optional costume contest. Tickets are $6 for non-members and free for members. Tickets can be picked up at the YMCA.

Other Easter bunny events include:

• Children in kindergarten and older can make an Easter craft at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Stallo Memorial Library in Minster. Call 419-628-2925 to register.

• There will be prizes, crafts, games and pictures with the Easter Bunny at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Columbus Grove Library.

• Children can stop at the Cridersville Library between 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday to make an Easter craft.

• The Bunny Photo Experience begins Saturday and runs through April 4 in the Elder Beerman Concourse at the Lima Mall. Visit with the bunny and take home a photo. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.

• The Lima Mall Caring Bunny for children with special needs is from 10:30 a.m to noon Sunday at the Lima Mall. Steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s visit with the Easter Bunny.

• Breakfast with the Easter Bunny has been planned for March 28 at the Waynesfield Lions Club. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children 3 to 12, and free children under 3. Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available from 8 a.m. to noon.

• There will be prizes, crafts, games and pictures with the Easter Bunny at 10 a.m. March 28 at the Leipsic Library.

• There will be prizes, crafts, games and pictures with the Easter Bunny at noon March 28 at the Continental Library.

• There will be prizes, crafts, games and pictures with the Easter Bunny at 1:30 p.m. March 28 at the Pandora Library.

• Big Egg Hunt at Calvary Chapel of Praise, Lima. This event is free and includes the egg hunt, refreshments, a live show and prizes. Children up to age 12 are welcome to hunt. Hotdogs, chips, cookies, juice and candy will be served. The event will take place rain or shine.
