Man arrested after domestic violence call

LOCKINGTON — Shelby County officials tracked down a man in Piqua after a call reporting domestic violence.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at 601 Cross Trail at 10:44 p.m. Saturday, where the victim, Glenda Butt, 49, was. She said her assailant, Kenny Snider, 53, had already left the residence where the two live, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Snider was tracked by a K-9 and using the tracks he left in the snow. He was arrested in Piqua and taken to a hospital for cold-related injuries.

Butt was taken to Wilson Memorial for non-life-threatening injuries from the altercation, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
