LIMA — Local agencies are hosting an event that will focus on youth substance use on Tuesday.
The event, hosted by the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin Counties and the Partnership for Violence Free Families, is a Town Hall Meeting at 4:30 p.m. at the Allen County Museum.
Judge Glenn Derryberry of Allen County Juvenile Court and Mental Health and Recovery Services Director Michael Schoenhofer will lead the conversation, which will focus on how alcohol and other drugs affect youth, families and Allen County as a whole, according to a release from the mental health board.
Current prevention intitiatives, further community involvement and social support will be discussed.
It is free and open to the public.
