Wake up, America!

It is time for mankind to be kind and for us to all take responsibility for our actions and teach the future generations the same. This is not a cultural or class (caste) issue; but an issue that needs to be recognized in the home (yes, I said it “home,” not school!) by families and in the community as a whole.

In case you have not noticed, this is the year 2015. I would think that by now we have evolved enough to realize that we must live and prosper together — or, together, we will go down.

Recently, a 19-year-old man lost his life (another, again) for reason(s) unknown to me. Following that there were rumors that retaliation would be forthcoming. This is really nothing new, but should be a thing of the past. We should have learned from history that nothing good comes from senseless violence. Make no mistake — I am not talking about race, color, religion, etc. — I am talking about humanity, where ethnicity and religion should not be an issue. There has been too much violence supposedly in the name of race and religion. It is time for it all to come to an end. Somewhere, some people have to set an example of tolerance and love for humanity … or humanity will cease to exist.
