LIMA — Firefighters fought a van fire Saturday morning.
No one was injured in the fire that happened at 7:20 a.m. at the corner of East Kibby Street and South Central Avenue, said Lima Fire Battalion Chief Ed Hower.
Daniel Daily was driving the 1992 Dodge Ram van when it caught fire. He escaped. The van is owned by Claire Richtmyer. The estimated loss is $3,500, Hower said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, Hower said.
