LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. L. Dean Nichols, of Lima, celebrated 60 years of marriage Dec. 26, 2014. A celebration hosted by their children was held Dec. 27, 2014, at the Bath Twp. House.
Nichols and the former Jill L. Selby were married Dec. 26, 1954, by the Rev. E.J. Penhorwood.
They are the parents of two sons, Dan (Cammie) Nichols and Rick (Maria) Nichols, both of Lima; and one daughter, Deb (Jim) Mack, of Lima. They have four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Nichols retired as a security supervisor from Ford Motor Co. Senior Fire Protection Specialist. He also retired as the fire chief with Bath Twp. Fire Dept. His wife retired from Citizens National Bank.
