TEAM OUTLOOK: Enthusiasm is high for Ada’s new team. The last time Ada had a boys tennis player was 2001 as Seth Banks was a four-time state participant. While tennis is a new sport for some of these players, most of them participated in Ada’s summer programs. Beaschler knows it will be a learning year but said the team hopes to be competitive by the end of the season.

TEAM OUTLOOK: According to Heintz, the addition of Hager at the No. 1 spot along with Wayman – a district qualifier last year – at No. 2 gives the Redskins very strong singles play. However, the team is working to find the right doubles combinations. Overall, the entire team returns from 2014 and Hager should be one of the top singles players in the area.
