LIMA — Anyone planning on holding a garage sale in the city of Lima is required to get a permit from the city before the sale.
The city’s Building and Zoning Division has made the permit application available for free on the city’s website: http://cityhall.lima.oh.us. The city requires two business days to process the application.
Residents are permitted to hold up to three sales a year 60 days apart, with each sale able to last up to five days. Physical applications are also available at the Municipal Building for a fee of $5.
