Our world is becoming a different place.
Even though big money and bad politics and terrible governments are trying desperately to keep us polluted and ignorant we are seeing things change. It’s way cool. We are finally seeing the power of the people make a difference.
Don’t misunderstand me. The power of the people always made a difference but there was always a backlash from it.
We are now seeing that there is real change from rebellion and protest. The power of our technology has brought us all closer to consciousness and closer to understanding the universe. Everything is immediate and at our fingertips in so many different mediums and this creates discussion, contemplation and grand debate.
Of course, we also need to check the truth behind every new story. News sometimes gets in a hurry and forgets about the facts. It takes looking beyond the normal news, the CNN, MSNBC, Fox idea and instead looking at the smaller less known formats that really get deeper into the stories.
BBC is still a great place to find information as is Huffington Post.
But the great thing is that we all can find out by just getting in front of a laptop and hitting search. The world is information and it’s there for the taking. Ignorance is not an excuse anymore.
