DELPHOS — Robert J. Hohlbein, of Delphos, will celebrate his 90th birthday March 28, 2015. An open house is planned from 2 to 4 p.m., March 29, 2015, at his residence for family and friends.
He was born March 28, 1925, in Ottoville, to Frank and Catherine (Bensman) Hohlbein. On Oct. 26, 1946, he married Wanda J. (Mesker) Hohlbein.
Hohlbein has one son, Bill Hohlbein, of Indianapolis, IN; and one daughter, Lisa (Bill) Mullenhour, of Lima.
He is an Army veteran of World War II. He retired from the Bostwick-Braun Company in 1989. He is a member of Delphos The Evangelist Catholic Church, in Delphos.
Hohlbein enjoys playing his harmonica for family and friends when he visits the nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
