AMERICAN TOWNSHIP — A Shawnee Township man was taken to a hospital after a motorcycle crash.
Just after 12:30 p.m. Monday, in front of 3724 Allentown Road in American Township, Beau J. Bowdle was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he rear-ended a car in front of him, according to officials.
American Township Fire and EMS were called to the scene, where Fire Chief Tom Hadding said Bowdle was in stable condition upon transportation.
The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured and refused medical treatment. Hadding said the vehicle sustained minor damage. Bowdle’s motorcycle sustained front-end damage.
Bowdle was transferred to the Ohio State University Hospital where he was listed in fair condition Tuesday evening.
