PAULDING — Member-owned cooperative, Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative, is hosting its annual meeting on Saturday.
The meeting will include an update on the state of the cooperative, a free lunch and a $10 bill credit to attendees.
Those interested in attending can go to PPEC’s headquarters, 401 McDonald Pike, where doors will open at 9 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 10 a.m. More than 600 cooperative members are expected to attend, according to a release from the cooperative.
“The annual meeting makes us unique in the electric utility industry. No other utility has member-owners. The annual meeting highlights that ownership,” according to a statement from CEO and General Manager George Carter.
