LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. James Fetter, of Lima, celebrated 70 years of marriage March 10, 2015. A celebration was held from Noon to 3 p.m., March 14, 2015, at First Assembly of God. The couple request that gifts be omitted.
Fetter and the former Ruth Marie Snyder were married March 10, 1945 at the home of the Rev. Pfund, by the Ref. Pfund. Fetter was home one day and was then deployed to the Philippines.
They are the parents of three sons, Kenneth (Josephine) Fetter, of South Bend, IN; Stephen (Brenda) Fetter, of Elida and Timothy (Kimberly) Fetter of Lima. They have 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Fetter retired from Ford Motor Company and from farming. His wife is a homemaker, and also helped him farm.
