LIMA – Jeremy Elsass, owner of Quitcove Holstein farm in Wapakoneta, called the auction held during the Ohio Holstein Association 95th convention “a field of dreams.”
More than 300 buyers from surrounding states attended Friday’s auction. Some heifers were expected to sell for as much as $20,000 during the two-day event.
The annual meeting is being held today at the Howard Johnson Hotel.
