COLUMBUS— “My Mail, My Ohio,” a campaign aimed at stopping the closure of four mail-sorting facilities in the state, is gaining support to stop the closure according to Myra Grubbs, spokeswoman for the effort.

“The processing centers in Ohio are four out of 82 nationwide slated for closure this year,” Grubbs said. “Several Congressional Representatives from Ohio have co-sponsored legislation to protect our communities and keep these facilities open.”

Grubbs said the scheduled closures will slow mail delivery, negatively impact small businesses and non-profit organizations, and have a devastating effect on the Youngstown, Akron, Toledo and Dayton communities, where facilities are targeted for closure.
