LIMA — In preparation of the Lima Mall’s 50th anniversary, the mall is seeking photos for its anniversary celebration this fall.

“We have a collection of historic photos of the mall, but we know there are many more personal stories and photos in the Lima community,” said Betsy Billingsley, director of mall marketing and business development. “We hope the community will contribute those photos to our collection so we can share in the many memories that have been created on this property over the past 50 years.”

Photos may be scanned and emailed to Betsy Billingsley at [email protected] or dropped off at the mall management office.

Lima Mall opened in 1965 and was originally 166,000 square feet. Today, the mall has more than 742,000 square feet of retail space including four anchor tenants, Elder-Beerman, JCPenney, Macy’s and Sears.
