LIMA — Chevy had minds spinning with the changes their 1963 Chevy Corvette had, so updates for the 1964 were kept to a minimum. The executives eliminated the split rear window for 1964, as well as the fake hood vents. The 1964 Chevy Corvette was the second version of the C2 second generation, which are also known as Midyear Vettes. There were 22,229 Chevy Corvettes produced during the 1964 model year, at a base price of $4,037 for the coupe and $4,252 for the convertible.

Barry Crites, of Lima, brought his 1964 Chevy Corvette to The Lima News’ Real Wheels Cruise-In. He has owned this beauty for 43 years. He took his wife on their honeymoon in this car.
