Men: fisticuffs; Coward: gun

I was just thinking about how much things have changed. When I was growing up in the 1950s, if a couple of young men had a disagreement, usually they would “duke it out”, then the loser would make a threat, something like “You had better watch out. I am going to tell my big brother and he will beat you up.”

It doesn’t seem to work that way anymore.

Now the loser pulls out a gun and starts shooting.
