LIMA — Lima residents can again enjoy frozen yogurt, as Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt is now open on Elida Road.
The store is in front of the mall and officially opened Wednesday, but it will hold grand opening events next week.
The events include opportunities for free frozen yogurt and other activities.
From noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, there is a ribbon cutting, free frozen yogurt for the first 25 guests, free T-shirts and a balloon artist. At 1 p.m. Sunday, the first 25 guests can get a free plush doll, a free color-in T-shirt and free face painting.
From 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, guests may fill their cups for $1. From 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, kids eat free. From noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, prices are half off.
At 3 p.m. Thursday, the first 25 guests will be given free dodge balls. From 8 p.m. to close Feb. 13, yogurts will be buy-one-get-one-free.
