LIMA — Legendary bluegrass band Dailey & Vincent will perform Saturday at Veterans Memorial Civic Center.
The duo, Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent, has been to Ohio several times but are making their first stop in Lima.
“Our Ohio fans are extremely loyal, and they are good people,” Dailey said. “I think it will be a very successful performance.

Dailey said their performance is more of a variety show, also featuring the genres of country, gospel and some comedy.
“We provide fun for everyone, from grandparents to grandchildren,” Dailey said. “We pride ourselves on it being a family event.”
Dailey & Vincent have won numerous awards and have been nominated for Grammy Awards three times. Prior to partnering, Vincent was in Ricky Skaggs’ band and Dailey was with gospel group Doyle, Lawson and Quicksilver. They have toured with popular acts such as Skaggs, Dolly Parton and Vince Gill. They were offered a recording contract as a duo in 2007 and haven’t looked back.
“The tour really took off right away,” Dailey said. “We did 147 shows that first year and it took off quicker than we could have ever thought.”
The duo has made stops at the Grand Ole Opry among their many shows.
