Putnam County Common Pleas Court

Jan. 15

William J. Drew, 46, 502 E. Ohio St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to felony non-support of dependents. He faces up to one year in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 17.

Brandon J. Moore, 23, 1767 Road 24, Continental, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (methamphetamine). He faces up to 12 months in prison, $2,500 in fines and six months to five years license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 26. He was originally charged with two counts possession of drugs (methamphetamine).

Jan. 16

Brandan M. Adkins, 19, 107 E. Elm St., Continental, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10:15 a.m. Feb. 12. He was originally charged with breaking and entering and theft.

Michael A. Borer was sworn in to another term as Judge of the Putnam County Probate Court to a term commencing Feb. 9, 2015 through Feb. 9, 2021.

A visiting judge was assigned to the case involving Jackson Betscher, Findlay, against the Putnam County Educational Service Center. Betscher filed a complaint for breach of duty to provide paid vacation leave benefits. Henry County Common Pleas Judge John S. Collier was assigned to hear the case. A pre-trial was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. March 24.

Jan. 21

Alicia J. Fenbert, 32, 404 N. Pearl St., Spencerville, was sentenced to 10 days jail for failing to pay child support. She was found in arrears in the amount of $960.98 as of Oct. 30, 2014. All but nine days of the jail was suspended provided she remain current in her payments and seek work.

Kristine A. Stillings, Ottawa, and John C. Stillings, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married in Ottawa and have four children.

Jan. 23

Robert A. Bell, 33, 16098 County Road G, Bryan, was sentenced to 72 months in prison after being found guilty of two counts domestic violence by a jury. He was sentenced to 36 months on each count to be served consecutive. He was also found guilty of two previous offenses out-of-state where violence had been committed against a family member. He was given credit for 142 days served.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Jan. 15

Dean J. Schnipke, 25, 916 E. Main St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of physical control. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $375 fine, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

Blaine M. Warnimont, 18, 13406 Road 22K, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: $100 fine. He also pleaded guilty to reckless operation. Sentence: $50 fine.

Jan. 22

Ronald L. Sanchez, 49, 712 W. Sugar St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to criminal damaging. Sentence: 90 days jail, suspended, fined $150, pay restitution of $1,657.08 and no contact with victim for two years.

Jared M. Benroth, 29, 208 W. Main St., Elida, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, 150 days suspended, $500 fine.
