TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Police in Toledo are investigating what appears to be the northwest Ohio city's 27th homicide of this year.
Authorities say 42-year-old Bill Fell was found dead by local officers responding to a traffic accident in the area of Bancroft and Cherry streets just after 2 a.m. Sunday.
Fell was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash. Police say he suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Police are continuing to investigate the accident and shooting.
